Soul Brew Show 7

Show 7 now up and running. Lookout for the brilliant Big Joe Louis track halfway through - you can buy it online from http://www.timmion.com/ or from Dusty Groove or your local record store. Another mixed bag this time around - light on the 70’s disco muck with some cheapies chucked in for good measure. I would have recommended going to Craig Moerer for a copy of the Leroy Clofer (if you needed one) but it appears someone grabbed about 18 or 19 of the 20 that he had in stock in one handful cos it went out of stock pretty damn fast! They were $90 so I’m guessing you may have to pay more next time you see it…(?) Nice tune though. Enough waffle, there’s plenty of that in the mix…

I can’t get enough of that show, listened more than 20 times. Etta is really a great start for that mix, her voice is that raw that it shivers me every time and it’s the same with that Gwen McCrae track, its going that deep. 5 miles out was absolutly new for me, a a+ funk killer and after that a long time favorite of mine the Blenders, great ;) . I will also have a look for a copy of that Eastwind Band, its great jazzy deep funk, grrrrrrrr. But Leroy Clofer for 90$, man good music is too expensive for me. Is there any vinyl compilation released with that track? Too much good music, i need help and much more money ;) . best regards Steffen
